Beginning: The 10 Commandments of Steve Jobs

My friend, Lon, sent this infographic to me. I immediately printed it out and hung it up at my desk. I’m working on my own version of the 10 commandments – how I work and live, what I believe to be the blocks that help to build a life to a happy, fulfilling life. I’ll share them as soon as I’ve completed. Do you have a Until then, here’s Steve’s. Do you have a version you’d like to share?

  1. Right – instead of inventing the wheel -perpetually, let’s try to learn from successful people, e.g. Read Malcolm Gladwell’s magnificent analysis of successful people in his best-selling book, “Outliers.” When Katrina struck, the Dutch, who’ve been handling levees for 10,000 years offered to help, and we turned them away. Crazy. And very close to hubris, I believe.

    1. Hi Stephen – so glad you enjoyed the post. I love Outliers – so much insight in that book. I love the 10,000 hours rule. Helpful and true!

  2. Thank you, Christa, Steve Jobs is my hero: such an inspiration to all of us. I feel sad, however, that Steve had to resign from Apple due to medical issues. We all wish Steve a speedy recovery: sooner the better, so he can once again do what he does best: innovation, creativity.
    Cheers.
